Slync.io to be Featured at “El Dorado,” a TPM20 Tech Experience
CEO of Slync.io to discuss the future of logistics and business process automation at TPM20, the biggest conference for international logistics professionals
February 1, 2020 — San Francisco, CA — Slync.io, an award-winning supply chain collaboration platform is proud to announce its support and involvement in “El Dorado,” an inaugural logistics technology experience, to be hosted in conjunction with TPM20 March 1-4,2020 in Long Beach, CA.
The program will discuss current technology trends among third-party logistics providers, beneficial cargo owners, container lines and ports, as well as other freight transportation interests. The program will consist of one-on-one dialogue, Ted Talk-style presentations, demos, and hard-hitting panel discussions.
The JOC, part of IHS Markit, introduced “El Dorado'' a technology-focused conference experience as part of the 20th anniversary of TPM’s container shipping conference. The experience will be open to all TPM attendees and will be held in the Seaside Ballroom of the Long Beach Convention Center, an area never before used at TPM.
Attendees can catch Slync.io CEO, Chris Kirchner as he lends his outlook to the panel session on Monday, March 2 at 5:00pm entitled, “The Bots are Coming: How RPA Might Change the Face of Logistics."
This distinguished panel will focus on how blockchain and artificial intelligence have received most of the logistics industry’s attention the past two years, while additional technologies are transforming core processes as we evolve beyond 2020. Kirchner will discuss how robotic and business process automation may have a much bigger impact on multimodal supply chains in the immediate future.
Representing the lost city of gold, “El Dorado” was a hard-to-locate land holding the promise of untold fortunes. Technology buyers in the logistics space face a similarly quixotic quest, with more questions than there are answers, and more problems than solutions. As the world's largest gathering of container shippers, forwarders, carriers, and ports, TPM is at the forefront of technology solutions that can transform the containerized supply chain. Slync.io is proud to be involved.
