Bertsch is a solutions-oriented professional with a combination of hands-on international logistics expertise, technical know-how, and forward-thinking ideas. Bertsch’s leadership—specifically in the logistics technology space—has directly contributed to significant process improvements and value generation, including millions in operational efficiency savings, better supply chain visibility, and new business opportunities for some of the world’s largest shippers and LSPs. At Slync.io, he not only leverages his vast industry experience working for a global freight forwarder to advocate for practical and innovative solutions, but he also serves as a trusted advisor.
“As someone who once walked in their shoes, Corey understands the importance of leveraging industry-based technology to improve communication and collaboration among supply chain stakeholders,” Kirchner added.
Dave Rink, Director of Solutions Consulting at Slync.io, has also spent more than two decades in the logistics industry. Rink has continuously been recognized as a consummate professional based on his keen customer focus and deep understanding of logistics technology and the international supply chain industry. Prior to joining Slync.io, Rink spent a large portion of his career at GT Nexus (now a part of Infor) where he was routinely brought in to solve the most complex customer issues. Rink has a keen ability to methodically break down problems into workable solutions. He has been instrumental in helping Slync’s clients optimize and improve their supply chain processes by extending and augmenting technology solutions based on industry best practices as well as specific organizational needs.
“Dave always rolls up his sleeves and is completely hands-on when it comes to working with our clients,” Kirchner stated. “He spends a lot of time listening to truly understand their issues, so he can present solutions that go beyond treating the symptom and actually solve the underlying root cause. His ability to deliver tangible solutions and uncover sustainable value is second to none.”
“This year’s winners are intuitive, adaptive and so super smart, and continue to push the envelope when it comes to everything supply chain-related”, stated Marina Mayer, Editor-in-Chief of Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics. “When I look back at past Pros to Know winners, I see a lot of individuals who accomplished a lot of great achievements. But, this year’s winners are reinventing what it means to be a supply chain professional.”
